Being in LA gave me some serious joy for many reasons, (mainly spending time with one of my best friends) but one of them was this: being able to bust out my summer clothes for a mid-January vacation. For our epic Sunday, I opted for something comfortable and California-cool. A fedora paired with a sailor-striped dress kept things edgy while my chambray shirt and moccasins brought a laid back vibe. And posing in front of the Vans wall on Melrose? Just oh-so dope.

Summer clothes in January are the best! My mom lives in San Diego & my bestie is in LA…January is my favorite time to visit them because I get to slip away from the awful cold & gray gloom of Seattle into 80 degrees & sunshine! You look adorable, by the way
